Children with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy

The mental health reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina came into reality after the war (19921995) and the Dayton agreement in 1996. An important part has been the creation of a network of community mental health centers (CMHCs) all over the two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are all organized as part of the primary health care system. There was a lack of clear legislative and policy framework, job descriptions and funding as well as management. The personnel had just started to work and had many ideas how to improve the service. The users were basically satisfied but not quite aware of what service they could expect. Co-operation with other service units was poor (Lagerkvist, Maglajlić, Puratić, Suši & Jacobsson, 2003).
